'Game of Thrones' Season 5 release date, spoilers: Teases with two new videos, reviews
A month before the premiere of its fifth season, "Game of Thrones" once again teased its fans with two new clips from the upcoming installment of the epic show.
HBO on Wednesday two new snippet of "Game of Thrones" Season 5, which dropped some hints on what the main characters are up to in the upcoming episodes of the hit television series.
The first teaser, which was posted on TVLine.com, showed one of the primary protagonists of the show, Jon Snow, convincing the "King Beyond The Wall," Mance Ryder, to join forces with Stannis Baratheon.
Ryder, however, seemed bent on protecting his own people despite arguments raised by Jon Snow about the former Night's Watch's past efforts.
The second video clip meanwhile showed Tyrion Lannister quizzing Lord Varys on why he chose to risk his life and position to release him.
"I didn't do it for you. I did it for the Seven Kingdoms," Varys told Tyrion in the teaser, adding that the disgraced imp has "a part to play in the coming war."
TVLine.com also posted photos of scenes from the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones."
The pictures gave a glimpse of new characters, including the Sand Snakes, or the daughters of Oberyn Martell, who was slain during the last season.
The Guardian meanwhile posted an early review of the Season 5 premiere, which got an early screening at the Tower of London on Wednesday night.
The season premiere will reportedly feature some nudity, and graphic violence which "were expertly shot and harshly realistic."
Game of Thrones Season 5 has a scheduled release date set for April 12, 2015.
