The Freedom 251 smartphone was launched  Feb. 18 in India. This is by far the cheapest smartphone in the history of mobile phones.

Ringing Bells, an Indian company, is selling this affordable phone online through its website, freedom251.com. Due to its amazing low price of Rs 251 (almost $4 only), many online shoppers undoubtedly want to place an order for this phone.

Unbelievable for such a price, this phone carries a four-inch qHD IPS display, big enough to have a clear view. It has a dual camera, a 3.2 MP AF rear camera and a 0.3MP front camera, to capture all those epic moments and captivating selfies. It also operates with a 1.3 GHz quadcore processor for quick and easy performance. It has a memory capacity of 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory to store important files. The SD card can expand the storage up to 32 GB for future huge requirements.

This smartphone boasts longer power with its 1450 mAh battery, enabling users to enjoy extended time to talk, play, browse, work, draw and watch videos. It is equipped with Android Lollipop 5.1. This enables users to gain access to all the apps on the Google Play Store. Moreover, the company offers a one-year warranty from 650+ service centers.

Freedom 251promotes "Make in India" products. However, some gadget geeks who have already purchased a unit determined that it was originally a Chinese smartphone called Adcom Ikon 4 with just a new brand. Despite the supposed rebranding, the Freedom 251 is still way cheaper than the Chinese brand which sells at Rs 4000. Consumers still have 90 percent savings compared to the Chinese smartphone.

This crazy discounted price will only be available for a limited time. The sale only last for three days, which ends this Sunday, Feb. 21.
