'The Blacklist' season 3 episode 16 spoilers, plot news: Search for 'The Caretaker' who holds criminal secrets

The upcoming 16th episode of NBC's "The Blacklist" season 3 will surely keep fans on the edge of their seats

The promo video for the show's upcoming episode "The Caretaker" follows Red and Liz's search for a "caretaker" who maintains highly confidential information of criminals.

It's been revealed that "The Caretaker" protects a safe for criminals, hiding it in a cemetery where no one suspects. Interestingly enough, details of Red's past are also included in this vault. The episode also shows how Red managed to safeguard his past's secrets.

Carter Matt, which also provided a synopsis for the 16th episode, added that Tom (Ryan Eggold) will makes a risky decision, while Liz will continue with her quest to learn more about her mother.

The episode will also show why Liz became furious with Red's secret.

In the previous episode, Red and Liz have already ironed out their issues when Red saved Tom from being killed. Red also assured Liz that she will have the peaceful life she's been wanting to have. In the upcpoming episode, however, Liz discovers that Red has lied to her.

She tells him: "Some things can't be forgiven."

This discovery results from The Caretaker's revelation of Red's secret.

The show's Twitter account also teased a picture captioned: "Red's search for Masha Rostova continues on #TheBlacklist."
