There was also a message posted to the Anne Graham Lotz Twitter account -- with wording almost the same as that of her Facebook posting.

"Danny Lotz is currently in ICU receiving excellent care. The family is standing firm in faith, trusting Jesus. Thank you for your prayers," the message reads.

Local news reports said emergency responders received a call just before 4 p.m. about a possible drowning at the family home. Danny Lotz was taken to an unnamed hospital where he is in the Intensive Care Unit.

Danny Lotz is diabetic and has bee undergoing dialysis for about six year, according to a family friend, the media report said.
