NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Christian Examiner) -- As courtships, weddings and baby announcements inevitably fill the lives of the Duggar family on TLC's 19 Kids and Counting, there is one match fans are hoping to hear is more than a rumor in the making.

Eonline among other news sites reported this week that former NFL quarterback -- and now turned SEC commentator and Good Morning America contributor -- Tebow, 27, and the oldest Duggar daughter Jana, 24, are dating.

Rumors started swirling during November after Duggar patriarch Jim Bob and wife Michelle met Tebow matriarch, Pam at a Loving Choices crisis pregnancy center fundraiser in Arkansas and then visited the Duggar's at their Tonitown home the next day.

The 2007 Heisman trophy winner, who recently was named one of People Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive for 2014, told People last month that he was single, but open to a relationship with the right girl. "It really has to go deeper than what they look like on the outside," he said. "It really needs to be about who they are on the inside. I've always been attracted to girls whose hearts are the biggest thing about them."

Both Tim an Jana are well-known for their faith, large families and chaste morals.
