'The Big Bang Theory' season 9 episode 15 spoilers, plot news: Sheldon and Amy hosting live show

Season 9 episode 15 of "The Big Bang Theory" promises to be hilarious.

While last year, Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) and Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler (Mayim Bialik) shared a special moment during Valentine's Day when Sheldon finally told Amy "I love you," fans of the show should not expect the same this year. 

According to reports, Sheldon and Amy are hosting a live episode of Fun with Flags. However, this does not turn out as initially planned. Instead, the live show becomes an avenue for Amy to give advice to people who would call her.

Meanwhile, Leonard and Penny struggle with the fact that they are already ageing and going about reliving their early days. Bernadette surprises Howard by telling him she is pregnant, while Raj breaks up with Emily, finding himself confused between her and the adorable girl he bumped into at the bookstore.

Kunnal Nayar, who plays Raj, shared: "The trouble doesn't go away. There might be some people in the mix that he has his eye on."

He further remarked that Raj and Emily try to patch up their differences, saying, "They're definitely going to try and work it out."

On the other hand, producer Steve Molaro has revealed to TVLine that Raj is having a difficult time dealing with loneliness.

He said, "I think he knows in his heart that this might not be the right person for him, but for a sensitive and insecure guy like him, the thought of choosing to break up with someone and then be alone is difficult."

In the previous episode, viewers saw the return of Amy after her conference. She then met Sheldon's grandmother, or Meemaw as he fondly calls her. However, Meemaw did not approve of their relationship and Sheldon had to defend his girlfriend. Meemaw conceded and let them be.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 15 titled "The Valentino Submergence" will air on Thursday, Feb.11, on CBS.
