'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' season 8 spoilers: When BFFs become 'frenemies'

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 8 returns this month of February with much more reality television melodrama, with housewives Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore engaging in a confrontational scene. The ladies, who are prime "best friends forever," will try to settle their growing feud in the episode titled "Peaches of the Caribbean."

According to Bravo TV, the women, who were both enamored with each other, are now slowly going through a downhill on their relationship. Former Miss USA Moore cries out to the 47-year-old Alabama native Bailey on her habit of saying something ill about her with their circle of friends.

Elsewhere, Peter Thomas, an "RHOA" husband, starts his very own field trip chaperone escapade with the group. Thomas plans that they will meet up with his close relatives who are in Jamaica.

Linnethia Monique "NeNe" Leakes, the former "Fashion Police" host, tries to settle the beef between the ladies while persuading Moore to hang-out with the rest of their gal pals. But things do not turn up exactly as planned when Moore once again talks ill about the husband of Kim Zolciak, the Atlanta Falcon's defense end Kroy Evan Biermann.

Things only turn up for the worse when Moore's new boyfriend, Matt "Mr. Muscles" Jordan, gets into a heated argument with the much older Thomas.

To add a further blow to the entourage, the weather isn't forthcoming on the big day of the commercial shoot. This only makes Kim once again short-tempered especially with Kenya unable to stop the tattle-tale on her husband.

Developed as the third installment of "The Real Housewives" franchise, following "The Real Housewives of Orange County" and "The Real Housewives of New York," it is currently in its eighth season and focuses on the personal and professional lives of several women residing in Atlanta, Georgia.
