Last year, the Apple Watch and the iPhone 6 were unveiled during the Apple spring event. It was rumored that by September, an announcement would be made about the latest MacBooks. People were on the tips of their toes waiting to hear the latest updates. According to new reports, both the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 2016 will be launched during the Apple spring event this year.

In addition, 9To5Mac revealed that there are speculations that Apple's latest line of products will be coming in rose gold color, from the latest iPhone 5se, iPad, and laptops.

But the speculations and rumors don't stop there.

For the upgrade in specs, Digital Trends has reported that the latest MacBook will be supported by a Skylake chipset, which will result in faster performance for the laptop. This was supposed to be incorporated in the previous MacBook; however, it was not included in the laptop's software due to the delay in Intel's release.

Also, MacBook users will be happy to hear that Apple could be extending the battery's lifespan. With this comes enhanced integrated graphics and an upgrade will prove to be a dramatic feat. Moreover, there are rumors that MacBooks will now have a touchscreen feature.

However, according to Gospel Herald, Apple is heard to be moving away from their MacBook Air line and focusing more on the production of MacBooks. Prices for MacBook Pros would be lower if the MacBook Air line will be cut.

Meanwhile, no other details have been divulged and executives have been very quiet about the additional upgrade for the new MacBooks. Users of the laptop will have to wait until March, should the rumored products be launched by then, to weigh if they need an upgrade.
