'London has Fallen' premiere date news: Actor Morgan Freeman's voice in Waze navigation app
Academy award-winning actor Morgan Freeman has volunteered his voice for the navigation app Waze, a crowd-sourced navigation and traffic app, to promote his upcoming movie "London has Fallen."
According to a post on Waze's blog, the app has Freeman as Vice President Trumbull, the same role he portrays in the film, to direct Waze users through traffic. His is one of the most requested voices by users and now, U.S. drivers can have Freeman as their new co-pilot.
Once the app is turned on and the user has selected "Morgan Freeman" from the list of options, the app will greet the user by saying, "The time has arrived, President Wazer. The world awaits your command."
Freeman's voice will make the app a little more exciting as the user hears his voice, saying, "The world awaits your command," as they make a turn.
Amber Kirby of Waze said that, as part of the deal, the app can direct users to theaters where "London has Fallen" is showing. However, Freeman's voice is available for a limited time only, until March 31, as reported by Wall Street Journal.
