Liza Weil, who is known for playing Rory Gilmore's frenemy throughout the "Gilmore Girls," has announced that she will be returning for the revival of the show.

Weil, who now plays Bonnie Winterbottom in ABC's hit series "How To Get Away With Murder," stated that she is very excited to return as Paris.

She revealed to Variety, "Tuesday is my first day, and I'm nervous."

In addition, she shared how playing Paris again has brought back old memories, saying, "Obviously, there's a lot of nostalgia surrounding the project, and I can't wait to dive into it. I was very emotional when I read the script, and it's going to be great to revisit my old friend Paris."

In "Gilmore Girls," Rory (Alexis Bledel) and Paris had a rivalry since Rory first attended Chilton Prep School. Paris, a straight-A student who dreamed of going to Harvard for college, was threatened by Rory, who also expressed her desire to enter Harvard. Although the two eventually became friends and ended up going to Yale instead, they had an ambiguous relationship toward the end of the series.

The revival of the show follows after Netflix acquired the rights to the back episodes.

Weil is set to reunite with Bledel and Lauren Graham (Lorelei Gilmore), Scott Patterson (Luke), Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore), Keiko Agena (Lane), Sean Gunn (Kirk), Yanic Truesdale (Michel), and Matt Czurchy (Logan).

The beloved series will make its comeback as a four-part TV-movie, where each film will coincide with a specific season.

Meanwhile, it was reported earlier this year that although "Gilmore Girls" creator Amy Sherman-Palladino expressed her desire to have Melissa McCarthy rejoin the cast as Lorelei's best friend and business partner, the latter has claimed that no invitation has been given to her to play the adored character.

She responded to a fan on Twitter who pleaded that she reprise her role, "Thanks for the invite, but sadly no one asked me or Sookie to come back to Stars Hollow. Wish them all the best!!"
