General Hospital spoilers, news: Surprises expected in Valentine's Day episode

This week, the long-running American television show, "General Hospital," promises surprises and lots of loving for its Valentine's Day episode.

According to report posted on the website of TV Source Magazine, love birds Ned Ashton (played by Kurt McKinney) and Alexis Davis (played by Nancy Lee Grahn) celebrate their Valentine's Day with an "intense dinner."

Elsewhere, Julian Jerome (played by William deVry) dare his friend, Lucas Jones (played by Ryan Carnes) to take a risky shot in a matter concerning love. Will Lucas' shot pay off?

Meanwhile, Sam Morgan (played by Kelly Monaco) and Dr. Patrick Drake (played by Jason Thompson), also go out on a date for Valentine's Day.

Their plans, however, gets derailed when Patrick is called to the hospital to attend to an urgent matter.

While waiting for her beau, Sam talks to one of Patrick's co-worker, Derek.

Could this spell trouble for the couple will be trouble? Is there a love triangle brewing on Valentine's Day? "General Hospital" fans should definitely stay tuned.

More surprises also await other characters of "General Hospital." An old friend from Bensonhurst of Olivia Falconeri (played by Lisa LoCicero) drops by unannounced.

The coming episode however does not bid well for Kiki Jerome (played by Kristen Alderson), who is set to receive bad news. Good thing Morgan Corinthos (played by Bryan Craig) is right by her side. They also have share of surprises: an unexpected guest visits them later in the episode.

Aside from dealing with bad news, Kiki also has to think about baby Avery. She understands that not all people have good intentions for the child. She thinks about baby Avery's future, and decides to meet Alexis for some legal advice.
