On Valentine's Day, HBO dropped a new teaser for the much-awaited sixth season of its popular fantasy drama series, "Game of Thrones."

The video takes fans of the show on a walk through The Hall of Faces, the room within the House of Black and White where the Faceless Men keep the skinned faces of the dead. As "Game of Thrones" viewers know, in the fifth season of the show, Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) served in the House of Black and White as she trained with Jaqen H'ghar (Tom Wlaschiha) and the Waif (Faye Marsay) to become a Faceless Man.

In the teaser, dead faces crowd the walls of the Hall of Faces and among the faces are those of some of the characters who have died in the series. Played over the images of these familiar faces are some of their most memorable lines.

"The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword," Ned Stark (Sean Bean) is heard saying, before his son, Robb Stark (Richard Madden), laments, "I've won every battle but I'm losing this war." Fans hear Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley) say, "Show them how it feels to lose what they love" and Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson) declare, "Everyone is mine to torment."

Those who are still hoping to find Jon Snow (Kit Harington) alive in the season 6 premiere will be disappointed to see the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch among the dead. "The long night is coming," Jon's voice cautions, "and the dead come with it."

But before viewers conclude that this teaser is all about those who have died, the faces of those who are still alive in the series also show up. The image of Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) is flanked by Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke). Beneath them are Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), Arya, and Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau).

Astute observers will notice that the order in which the visages of the dead characters are shown is the exact same order in which they died in the show. Could the final shot of the teaser, in which the faces of still-alive main characters Tyrion, Cersei, and others are on the wall, indicate that one of them will die in season 6?

The sixth season of "Game of Thrones" premieres on April 24 on HBO.
