This game series will feature a character creator, and allows players to choose a variety of races including Saiyans, Namekians, Earthlings, and Majins.

Attack of The Fan Boy reported that the demo of Xenoverse demo contains 16 playable characters which include: Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Future Trunks, Vegeta, Nappa. Raditz and a First Form Frieza. The other five custom characters are a Saiyan Male, Saiyan Female, Namekian, Majin Male and Majin Female.

According to Game Spot, Dragon Ball Xenoverse will be released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 24. While the PC release on Steam is set for February 27.

The game was developed by Dimps, which also worked on the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai series and co-developed Street Fighter IV.

In related news, video game retailer GameStop is reportedly offering "an exclusive special collectible edition metal dragon game case to gamers who place a pre-order before the Dragon Ball Xenoverse release date which fulfills every collector's dream."

Gamers can make their pre-orders via GameStop Rewards now. According to Crossmap, the metal case is free with pre-orders for the console editions of the game. Supplies will be available until the February release.

The downside of the offer is that the free case is not given unless it's for a purchase of the Dragon Ball Xenoverse game for either PlayStation or Xbox consoles.
