Android 5.0 Lollipop Update for Galaxy Note 4: Download approved for T-Mobile Network
Good news for all Samsung Galaxy Note 4 subscribed to T-Mobile's wireless network service in the United States: Google's latest operating system, Android 5.0 Lollipop, has been approved for the smartphone.
As reported by Droid-Life.com, T-Mobile's product guru, Des Smith, announced via Twitter that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has recently received technical approval.
Smith also said that the Android update's roll-out should begin next week. This means that owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 smartphones subscribed to T-Mobile should receive notifications in the coming dates about the Google Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
"This just in!!! Technical Acceptance on #Note4 Lollipop software update achieved! Should start to rollout next week! Woot woot!" Smith said on his official Twitter account.
T-Mobile subscribers using Samsung Galaxy Note 4, however, should hold off on the excitement. Droid-Life.com also reported that the Android version being tested for the smartphone is the Android 5.0, which has received complaints due to a number of bugs.
Google has nevertheless come out with updates to resolve this bugs, the most recent of which is the Android 5.1.1 update. T-Mobile, however, has yet to announce when it will release a newer build of the Android Lollipop update for its subscribers using the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
In a related news, TechTimes.com reported that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update is also imminent for T-Mobile subscribers using another Samsung gadget: the Galaxy Note Edge.
