'The Walking Dead' Season 5 finale live stream AMC: Plot spoilers - 'Sad losses' executive producer says
"The Walking Dead" fans should brace for "sad losses" in the finale of its fifth season next week, the executive producer of the cable television smash-hit has revealed.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Gale Anne Hurd, "The Walking Dead" executive producer, said blood will be spilt in the upcoming episode.
"You can rest assured that not only walker blood will be spilled, but there will be a few surprises and some sad losses that no one, I think, will be able to predict," Hurd said in the interview.
She further teased loyal viewers of the show that the season finale will have a "few surprises."
A preview of the season finale aired after the penultimate episode showed the aftermath of Rick's brawl with Pete, a resident of Alexandria who is beating his wife.
An apparently beaten up Rick was shown being interrogated by Glenn inside a room, and with the show's main protagonist threatening to kill Alexandria residents.
"They will haunt us. They will find us. They will try to kill us. We will kill them, then it's over," Rick said in the teaser.
Another shot showed Deanna, the leader of the Alexandria Safe-Zone, calling for a meeting to discuss how to deal with Rick's aggressiveness.
Carol will also confront Pete with a knife in the upcoming episode. Hurd said Carol "could actually be an even more dangerous foe because she's undercover."
Steven Yeun, the actor who plays Glenn, meanwhile hinted that his character will continue to deal with the dilemma of following Rick's aggressiveness, or imbibing the civilization inside Alexandria.
"I think we're going to see a ripple effect—see how this affects everybody. In terms of Glenn, if we track back, you realize that he's kind of having a crisis of conscience at this point," Yeun said in a separate interview with Entertainment Weekly.
The 90-minute finale of "The Walking Dead"'s fifth season will air on Sunday on AMC and can be watched by clicking here.
