NBA superstar Kobe Bryant played his last NBA All-Star Game on Feb. 14.

With 66-seconds left on the clock, the five-time NBA champion checked out from his last game on Sunday. When the ultimate MVP made an exit, basketball enthusiasts inside the stadium stood and chanted "Kobe, Kobe!"

The 37-year-old basketball superstar also received honor from both playing teams as they gave him a standing ovation during his exit. It was a momentous exit ? a well-deserved applause ? as he bade goodbye to his fellow athletes and basketball fans.

Reuters also reported that Bryant did not even want his teammates to go easy on him in this final game.

The NBA veteran is an 18-time player of the NBA All-Star Game. He has been playing big time as a small forward in his team, the Los Angeles Lakers, carrying the number 24 jersey. He was the youngest player when he first joined his first NBA All-Star Game, having been only 17 when he started playing for the Lakers. At the time, his parents needed to cosign his contract so he could officially play for the team. This week, he exited as the oldest player in his final game.

Bryant can be considered a legend in the history of professional basketball. He has achieved exemplary honors such as two-time NBA Finals MVP, one-time league MVP and four-time All-Star Game MVP. He also gained remarkable citations from various personalities and news bodies. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver called him "one of the greatest players in the history of our game" and Reuters tagged him as "arguably the best player of his generation."
