'Jill & Jessa: Counting On' news: Duggar sisters' new series to premiere on March 15
The celebrated life journey of the Duggar family will continue to touch the world as they embark on a new TLC series called "Jill & Jessa: Counting On," which will premiere on March 15.
After a difficult 2015 for the Duggars, the family is excited to share their learnings and new experiences through the new show.
In the promo video, Jill says that she's "grown up a lot." Considering all the struggles their family has battled with in the last year, it is noteworthy to know that she has matured and learned from her experiences. The video also flashes significant phrases like "healing from the past" and "hopeful for the future," giving the viewers a gist of what the family is looking forward to, which will be documented in the new episodes.
The new episodes will showcase how new parents Jessa and Ben adjust to the responsibilities of parenting their newborn son, Spurgeon. The new series will also highlight the missionary works in Central America of Jill and her husband Derick, as well as focus on the adulthood journey of the other Duggar siblings, including Jana, Jinger, Joy Anna, John David, Josiah, and Joseph.
In the past, the world witnessed some of the Duggars' tough times. Their famous TV series "19 Kids and Counting" was cancelled in July when one of their family members, Josh, was embroiled in a molestation scandal. Not long after, he also admitted to getting hooked with porn and cheating on his wife through his subscription in the controversial cheating site Ashley Madison.
Last year, in the three-part special also called "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," the world saw how the family coped with life and overcame the scandal. More family members began to speak their heart out and it was encouraging to see how they held on to their faith and continued believing on the goodness of God in their family.
The video ended with Jessa saying "family is everything" and some family members happily posing for a groupie.
