iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak release date latest news: Still under development?
Fans of famous jailbreaking groups TaiG and Pangu are still waiting for the jailbreak for the most recent iOS update.
On Jan. 20, TaiG posted a beta version for the iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak. As mentioned in their post, the jailbreak was, at the time, still in beta mode so it could cause incompatibilities with official iOS release. And due to it being still being in beta, it was not really recommended for use.
At the moment, iOS users who want to jailbreak their device are still waiting for an updated jailbreak. TaiG's and Pangu's sites are both saying that the jailbreak is still under development.
More recently, there are a lot of fake jailbreaks circulating online and users have been warned to not fall for such claims, no matter how credible they look.
Apple's iOS 9.2.1 update was officially released on Jan. 19 and is available for almost all Apple devices such as the iPhone 4s and later, iPad 2 and later, and iPod touch (5th generation) and later. The recent update includes a security update as well as bug fixes. Although it doesn't really have that much impact at first glance, overall it is more of a performance upgrade. Battery life is said to have improved as well as the stability of connectivity.
According to Gotta Be Mobile's review, they were able to have longer battery life despite using LTE and Wi-Fi connectivities, as well as Bluetooth. They were able to notice that there isn't any lag in the Control Center, Notifications or the stock keyboard as well. Also the UI (user interface) is considered fast and fluid.
Experts are also recommending to back up the user's device before installing the recent upgrade.
