The promo video of Netflix's "House of Cards" season 4 was already released and it reveals that the new season will premiere on March 4.

The one-minute video is not generous enough to disclose beefy stuff about the series, however. It only shows a scene wherein Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) digs the ground and his followers give a loud applause. The cast is also not willing to reveal anything but just promised a series of surprises, conflict and suspense.

Netflix published another teaser video titled "The Leader We Deserve" on Jan. 10 wherein Frank Underwood is making his campaign speech. While he is delivering his speech, some scenes are shown, giving a sneak preview of the new season's highlights.

Some scenes in the said teaser show Underwood being involved in killings, some marital bliss, and some intense sensual scenes.

Elizabeth Marvel is playing the role of Heather Dunbar, the political rival of Underwood. Derek Cecil is portraying the role of Seth Grayson, Underwood's director of communications.

A new member of the cast is "Party of Five" star Neve Campbell. Some speculated that her role will probably be another rival of Underwood, but nothing has been officially confirmed yet.

Season 4 will be the last for Beau Willimon as its showrunner. He was even absent from the special screening held last Monday at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D. C. Ted Sarandos, Netflix's head of content acquisition did the opening remarks in the special screening.

Meanwhile, Spacey now has three roles in the show: as lead star Frank Underwood, as executive producer, and more recently, as the chairman of media company Relativity Media.

Season 3 closed with the politician struggling with his marriage and a presidential campaign. The next season will continue with a possible reunion with his wife while pursuing a reelection.
