Good news "The Walking Dead" fans: the upcoming spin-off of the zombie apocalypse just got its name, and it's promising more horror.

According to an article posted on Entertainment Weekly, "The Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman revealed on Twitter the title of the companion series: "Fear The Walking Dead."

"It's official! The Walking Dead companion show on AMC will [be] called 'Fear The Walking Dead'! Expect more news very soon! #FearTheWalkingDead," Kirkman said in a tweet.

The Huffington Post meanwhile reported that the first trailer for "Fear The Walking Dead" will air this Sunday, after the finale of the original series' fifth season, during "Talking Dead."

Before its title debuted and before its first trailer aired, several details have already been revealed about "Fear The Walking Dead."

The new version of the popular zombie series is set to debut this year in late summer. It will have a six-episode first season, and a full second season with 13 episodes next year.

The setting of "Fear The Walking Dead has also been revealed: Los Angeles, which is far away from the setting of the original series.

Some cast members of "The Walking Dead" spin-off have likewise been named. These include "Fear The Walking Dead," which will star Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey.

Kirkman earlier said in an interview with IGN that "Fear The Walking Dead" will explore "corner many corners of The Walking Dead universe that remain unseen in the shadows."

"Being given the opportunity to shine a light into those corners and see what lurks out there is an absolute thrill. I know the fans are anxious to hear what Dave and I have been cooking up for this new universe of The Walking Dead, and I'm happy to be one step closer to sharing it with them," Kirkman said.
