ISRAEL (Christian Examiner) - Each year thousands of Orthodox Christians flock to the Jordan River to celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany by being baptized in a ceremony at a site where Christians believe John the Baptist baptized Jesus. Here a Chrisitan pilgrim is immersed at a baptismal site known as Qasr el-Yahud near the West Bank city of Jericho January 18, 2016.
