New trailer released for 'Hillsong – Let Hope Rise' movie

LOS ANGELES (Christian Examiner) – The company behind the upcoming movie about Hillsong United has released a new trailer, which shows more footage from the film that will detail the worship band's rise to popularity.

Hillsong – Let Hope Rise will release in theaters Sept. 16. Pure Flix is distributing it.

"Anyone who regularly attends a church knows Hillsong's music by heart. That's how influential they've become," said movie producer Jonathan Bock. "And yet despite the fame and adulation, they're still just a humble worship band trying to do what tens of thousands of other worship bands try to do every week -- glorify God through their music. How they balance that is a fascinating and surprising story."

Some of the band's more popular songs include Oceans (Where Feet May Fail) and Touch The Sky. Hillsong United has sold more than 17 million albums.
